    1936 olympic banner (Ehrenband)

    Hi Guys
    recently had this on the police and civil forum and it as been suggested that I try it on this forum for you flag guys.
    Love to know what you thing and any ideas on value of such a rare item

              Great item. Provenance? If it was one of the bands presented, perhaps there's a flag to go with it or photos.

              It would be interesting to learn more about its acquisition.

              Value would be tough to determine. It has both Olympic and Third Reich collector appeal.

                Hello SC:
                Very nice. Based on construction it does appear to
                be authentic. Army streamers sell for $2500 USD,
                and there were 930 of those made. If only 49 of these
                Olympic streamers were made, that would make them
                ~19 times rarer, and as such maybe worth around $48K.
                Depends if more were around too, say some used on
                NSRL and Turnverein sports club flags? What is the size?
