Neat little (I assume it's little) flag--Karl Ludwig was a martyr killed in 1927, and this reads 'Karl Ludwig' memorial squadron--it might relate to the Karl Ludwig Gedächtnispokal which is an important swimming team (Staffel) award (not sure how long that has been around or whether or not it would still be around if named after an NSDAP martyr).
