Hello garyv:
Appears to be a nice war memorial streamer circa 1930.
Not sure what the #23 means, could be a lodge, veterans
group, or some other fraternal organization with chapters.

I was wondering if there`s very much interest in collecting these.I think they`re beautiful works of art,all done by hand and no two are alike.Just like the large ww1 vet flags,such as cjsdads collection.

I think the interest would be stronger in Germany where there is a connection to the regional aspect.

The 23 could be a regiment number.

This sold on e-bay for alittle over $200.00USD think that was on the hi or lo end of it`s worth? I went up to $200 on it myself.
