Railroad eagle - Good or bad???

I love this bird

The bird finally arrived and I really love it. Just have two very slight dents on the chest and some lights scratches here and there on the observe of it. The reserve is in a near mint condition. Once again, thank you for the input from everybody.

This was possibly liberated from the foundry, sems like there was another one posted on the forum not too long ago

I just stumbled upon the other unfinished bird. The proof marks on the head are like the proof marks on the lug of my 35" eagle.

Do you see any proof marks on your eagle?

Not all eagles have those extra stamp marks on the edge.
Some were stamped with RENO, a possible maker.

You can see the proof marks on my bird at my web site. I think that it's the 5th picture. There's a circle with a 13 in it.
