While i agree with most of the points indicating potential reproduction, i dont agree the "weird hair" effect in regards to the fringe is a relevant point.
Pauls pics and other period pics attest to that.
Fringes did vary in construction and materials and the "hanging" or "not hanging" effect is affected by those factors.
Here is a thread showing a very nice original NSBO flag with a "weird hair fringe" or perhaps its just had some viagra.
The shot where it is leaning up gainst the book case show this effect and the upper and side edge fringes definately arent hanging down.
I also have a NSBO flag with the same characteristic fringe effect.

You have to turn that foto 45 degrees to the right... - its not "leaning up", but hanging down. The guy who took that foto shot it hanging down from his shelf, and the posted it turned...
yes, and the book case shot shows them clearly sticking straight out from each edge.
nothing to do with the photo at an angle.
If they hang like you are suggesting them they would all be going the same way, towards the right hand side of the photo or if the photo is turned
towards the correct angle, then they would all hang towards the floor.
Also if you hold the photo the correct way, the left hand edge of the fringe has the lengths actually angled up, especially closer towards the pole end.
As for trumpet banner, if that is floor covering then that is just bizarre.
It looks like a red hanging background and the trumpet is being suspended from the two vertical white ties.
And the middle one,(you appear to have conveniently left that one out), proves what im saying again.
Thats ok, glad to help and i appreciate the acknowledgement on this point.
If you enlarge the 2nd shot Paul supplied, you can clearly see the"weird hair" effect on parade.
Tips and pointers on what defines a fake from real are what we all seek, but they need to be based in study and research. These forums are great but can also be major source of misnomers and falseisms.
Owners of original flags will know exactly why original fringe lengths "hang" and some stay"suspended".
Hi KK, while i dont like the banner, the trumpet could well be period, with much polishing..... I used to have a DJ banner with HJ trumpet years ago, i will look for the pictures if i can find them... the trumpet had a brazed on HJ Adler with Bann number "184". The trumpet it was period attached to was identical to the one you show, so right or wrong thats is the facts.... Johnno.
