Looks like a really nice, complete NSBO flag from Butzbach, a town near Frankfurt in the German state of Hesse.

Butzbach 3 was on the e-stand a few years back according to my compiled list..

Nice NSBO flag of a type still being sold on dealer sites as NSDAP

Sadly I've even seen NSBO flags being sold as SS unit flags.

PS/ Some really nice photos of the period silver wire bullion twist fringe.

I was at a show in Ohio at least 10 years ago, probably more like 15. I bought one of my best SA flags (Jaeger-Standarte 15) from a dealer who also had an NSBO flag with a corner patch to a unit named after "Horst Wessel." He thought the NSBO was an SA honor flag and had it priced at double the cost of the beautiful SA.

There's actually an NSBO flag from the town of Gotha on line now. The unit is named after Moltke and listed, with an excessive description, as another SA honor flag.
