Gents:

Would appreciate any inputs you may have on the DJ trumpet banner for which pics follow. I am a bit skeptical for a number of reason, the first being the very low asking price by the seller. Addtionally, my radar is certainly up as I don't know the seller, he's not a WAF member. The story is he ("Manfred) is a German working in Sophia, Bulgaria. He has not Paypal account, etc. Maybe I'm getting scammed, but first things first....based on the photos does this banner look good to you? It's single sided, obviously, and the fringe appears a bit "fluffy" to me, although Angolia has one pictures in his HJ book, Volume 2 (top photo) for which the fringe also appears to be somewhat loosely twisted. Thanks for any inputs!

Suggest you search the WAF flag forum using keywords
"DJ Trumpet Banner" where you can see other examples
such as WAF thread t=414393. I don't collect tb's myself
as they are so often faked, and would only do a Bulgaria
deal on an approval basis - pay after in hand inspection.

Too many concerns

Thanks for taking a look. My radar is very much activated and I believe I will do exactly as you suggest - buy only with funds transferred after an in-hand inspection. The price the seller has quoted is SO ridiculously below the collective value of the trumpet (which is a period example) and the banner that, rightly or wrongly, I smell "SCAM." When a deal is "too good to be true" it usually is, right?! Even if the seller is on the "up and up" I have concerns about the fact that the items would be shipped from Bulgaria. Don't want to, in any way, demean Bulgaria, or its residents, but I understand the shipping risks (to or from) are similar to those of Russia.
