Hey Guys,
I need some help from you Flag guys on this one. Just picked this up from the Vet who acquired it. I have pretty much figured out what it is, but haven't got a clue as to what something like this is Worth or what Organization it is associated with.
Description: 160cm X 17cm, Double thickness, Silk, National Colors with Gold Bullion Fringe on both ends. Embroidered Black Swastikas on both ends, Embroidered Text in Gold Thread is "Gewidmet Von Dem Frauen und Jungfrauen von Korbisdorf" Translates to "Dedicated to the Women and Maidens of Korbisdorf".
Opposite end has Embroidered Text in Gold Thread, "Zum 60 jahrigen Stiftungsfest 1933". This Roughly Translates to "The 60th Year Founders Day Celebration". Never Seen anything like it and don't really know even what to call it, Banner?, Sash?, ???
ANY information on the Organization that is associated with it, How it was Used, and, especially, some kind of Value on it. Any of this information would be Greatly appreciated. It is REALLY a Super fine Piece of work and VERY near Stone MINT condition! SO, What do you guys Think?
Thanks,
RG88
