Party flag ID

[Military Trader]

I know there were a wide variety of these party flags. I was wondering if this one had a specific puropse or just a window hanger. It might be hard to see from the photos but it is a double sided multi-piece construction -- a very heavy and nice flag.
It has the loop hangers at the top and it was obviously cut down by US soldiers. You can see the names of the unit written on this flag. It is around 53 inches by 48 inches (sorry, I'm not sure what that would be in metric).

It came with a grouping of other items from the US vet.

Just wondeing.

Hi realy it could have been used most any where.But I can tell you that it is an early one. It has the swaztica in the static position.Best regards.

trooped unit flag ???

Hello Dennis:
Looks like it once had seven pole mounting rings, now torn away.
May have been a trooped unit flag if corner has any evidence of a
corner patch. Static swastika & lack of fringe might be circa 1933.
