Pre-1938 Gauleiter Car Pennant

I just scored this rare beauty recently and thought some folks may want to see it. I put a Heer breast eagle in the photo for size comparison. The GI that brought this home took the flag off the mounting device, probably for ease of carrying. The seam where it was attached is un-sewn now and you can see the moths got at it in places BUT... it's a very rare and still beautiful piece. Too bad I don't collect flags OR party stuff!

Likewise, I don't collect pennants, but I've always
liked the bullion metalic wire thread work on these.
As such years ago I did pick up a square "KL" type.

Yes, the bullion wire is beautifully done. I know these are super rare so I grabbed it.

It's on the e-stand for about 1/4th of it's value if it was mint with the metal pole. I frankly think this is lower than it's worth but we all know the e-stand is dead these days. We shall see!
