    who made the flags ???

During WWII several firms in Germany made flags, here is a list of
some I've observed from actual flag markings, as posted on the WAF.
Please feel free to add more examples with confirmation photos (*).
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------
    1. Berliner Fahnenfabrik Geitel & Co Berlin, *OFW (mostly RKF's)
    2. Fahnen Hoffmann K.G. Berlin, *OFW observed
    3. Bonnerfahnenfabrik Bonn (often used sewn label), *OFW
    4. Johann Liebieg & Comp Reichenberg Sudetenland, *OFW

    ---------------------------
Known fakes: (**)original flags from these makers not yet observed
    Fk1. Plutzar & Brull K.G. Bielitz O/S, *OFW (SS Lager and RKF's)**
Fk2. Kurt Brautigam Plauen Vogtl landeskreis, *OFW (SS Lager)**

Many WW2 period flags were made on Singer sewing machines,
the company suspended sewing machine production to take on
weapons manufacturing both in Germany and America. Factories
in the US supplied the famous Norden bomb sights, M1 Garand
rifles, and M1911 pistols, products used to smash the 3rd Reich.

Singer machines made US flags too

Singer machines were also used to make flags during WWII in the USA. See

          Thanks Rob,
My heart was pounding out of my chest. The way it came across in OFW's post was that originals from this maker have not yet been observed. Thanks for putting me at ease.

                        RUHL13:
Interesting 1st pattern RKF example with unusual narrow rope
often seen on recent fakes, but this one is real by material and
screen printing details, and a nice sewn on makers tag, now #15.

used on a fake, that was first list error, should be as now
listed on Fk1/2, used on a fake SS Lager with the dot size -
same dot size fake marking on the Fk2 RKF shown below.

In post #1 it shows Plutzar & Brull fake ss lager and rkf's, I see the updated list shows only ss lager. I was going off the list in post #1, that is where the mix up was, sorry.
