First pattern SS-SBF's end around regiment #60, so you
can look up in which blue Nuremberg Rally year books when
they received their unit flags. And first battalion LAH had
also, I believe, a static swastika SS-SBF, and the other
Bn's the second pattern, so ckeck their presentation date.

IMO SS-SBF's 1st pattern dates are 1933 to 1935, based
on first eight SS Standartes being present flags at the 1933
Nuremberg Rally, and regiment 59 (Loeper) on 23.10.1935
which still had the 1st pattern SS-SBF's. VT-SS-Rgt#2 got
2nd pattern SS-SBF's at the 1936 Rally, see post #21 photo.

oldflagswanted,- well after searching for my negatives for about a year, I found my negative of a color picture of my SS-SBF "III/82",- I'll send you a picture after I get the print made. The swastika is the static type, not the later angled-on-point type.

SS II/16 patch on both sides ???

II/16, a first pattern (fringe & static swaz), but with
replaced snap hook where top ring should go. Is it
property marked by post WW2 Czech movie studio?
If so, some only have the corner patch on one side.

Interesting question, but have never seen one
with a RZM tag to pin down the maker(s). I do
have a RZM-60 marked top, so maybe they also
made the flags too? All of the two pattern SBF's
appear just alike construction wise, so IMO likely
there was maybe just one maker source - a guess.
