here are 3 eagles for review.

1. Car front radiator Eagle




2. Cast Iron Wall Eagle "A" - note the faint maker marks.




3. Cast Iron Wall Eagle "B"

#1 is a 1st pattern NSDAP flag poletop. This one looks legit, but is in poor condition. There are several examples posted on this forum.

I believe #3 is a table top eagle. I've seen those here somewhere too.

Personally, I am not crazy about any of them.

The early flag pole top is usually plated. Sometimes this can flake off in places. But this seems devoid of finish completly? Also the fixing does not look right.

The other two being made of cast iron have been copied for decades now. The crudity of them would concern me.

I would pass on them.

i have decided on pass on all 3.
The second piece looks suspicious especially at the top edge of the wing where there is excess metal material. I am certain it would not have passed the manufacturer and why would the maker marking be so faint?
