Here is a MINT WW2 German ID Flag that measures 38"X 57".Made of heavy cotton/rayon with the 4 gromets.This flag is as nice as they come.So what do you think Good or Bad?

Nobody knows anything about this flag?I am going to sell it on the estand so I thought I would show it here first for all to see.I know that the flag is good but I wanted to hear from others before I sell it.Thanks

Did they actually put grommets on vehicle flags?If they really did, why not on all corners? Seems awful big for a vehicle flag. Is the vehicle thing an assumption or ?? Pardon me for saying , but i wouldnt buy the vehicle part. did you wash it? as its on the line, also original nazi flags are NOT color fast..So if you did, it would be a red flag, no i mean it really would be a red flag, as the colors run thru the white making it pink. Also the seeing thru the light in the photos shows the swastika is poorly done,and this one is screen printed, and are always perfectly square... also the backround white is..not round , and they were cut from patterns except early on, as this doesnt appear to be an early flag.For some reason it doesnt have the quality im used to seeing in screen printed centers.Just thought id critique it since you asked. Hope you find a buyer anyway. Whats the story , or isnt there one, as to where it was acquired?Contrary to others here, I believe stories that are true, can make a difference, but only if they are true, not second hand stories... thanks .

Let me answer your questions.Yes Vehical flags have 4 gromets 1 on each corner.I only showed 1 because everybody knows there are 4 and by just showing 1 the member can see the type of gromet and I do not have to take 4 pics.It is a Vechical or field ID flag they are one in the same.No I did not wash it I just put it on the line to take pics in the out side sun light.The swastika as you can see from the other pics is A ok seeing it thru the light makes it look that way..The story behind the flag it came with some other items that I bought.

I think its ok.

I believe the white centre and swastika are a bit askew because of the way its hanging on the clothesline.

The white centre is sewn on i assume, so it is not a totally silkscreened flag.

KK you are 100% correct the center is sewn on and the swas is printed.There is no marking on the flag as the norm for this type of flag.
