    DE questions

    Hello collectors flags
I want to sollicit you about DE pole top, Box, Flags, Tassels, etc.....sold by TradersOf the Lost Surplus.
I don't know this site and dealer and discover it via WAF.
I want ask you, as I never seen and never had in hand an original DE standard if items proposed by TOTLS are goods and proach from original?
Are dimensions, constructions, details of the eagle, wreath, box, standard, stitching, etc....are near than a real one?
Is 950 USD justified for an item of this type? Is it better than pakistani reproduction? It is really constructed from an original mould?
Sorry for all these questions, but dealers pictures are good, but not so detailed for have an good idea.
Is this piece of red leather (show in follow pic) is 'normal', and found on original flag?

Maybe have you more pics in your files for give me your opinions about this "deutschland erwache" pole top & named box!
    Many thanks in advance
    Best regards

          <CENTER>Bill:
IMO the TOTLS DE eagle, having been cast from an original,
looks better than the heavy metal version shown on the web
site you listed, which by the way is now marked as sold.
I do have both replica DE eagle types and an original, so my
opinion is based on first hand comparison. I got the heavy
metal replica from another collector after it fell over and broke
off at the feet from being too top heavy.
