It does have two period type hanging clips to both ends, and nicely covered in weather proof plastic.

Where's the beef, I mean where's the swastika? Case and
snaphooks look 3rd Reich period, but not the pennant being
without the collector mojo desired swastika. Is the pennant
sewn into the case, and the emblem and lettering done in
machine chainstitch embriodery?

OFW, yes, case is on from the start.
Chain stitched logo.
What do you make of it? Vintage?

p.s. I also posted up in political forum, to possibly obtain feedback on vintage of logo? perhaps that will lead me to some answers.

I had some stickpins and badges with exact same logo. Dave Cameron said that was a symbol of the post WW2 hunting association. You could shoot him a pm and and he could tell you more.

The DJV or Deutscher Jagdschutz-Verband is a current postwar hunting association. See the below web links. Although when postwar made in the last 60+years I wouldn't know. Still a very interesting pennant!
