    Small KM flag. Fake?

Hello all, I'm relatively new to collecting WWII German items and I've been lurking here for a few months. I'm primarily a gun and US militaria collector, I've collected quite a bit of German field equipment and things like Reibert manuals over the last two years but I decided to buy a flag and I think I got burned. After reading "Munster"'s post from 1-02-2009 and comparing my flag to his I'm sure of it. I bought this from a dealer last May who guaranteed its authenticity and would appreciate your observations before I ask for a refund. Thanks, Troy.

    <CENTER>Hello Troy:
Yes, the small RKF you posted photos of is a repro, as denoted
by the thin clothesline rope, the small header stamped lettering,
the material and construction, the size, etc. As a repro worth
around $40 to $50 max on today's collecting market, with a real
one going at retail for around $500 USD.
