Veterans Organization: Just picked this vehicle pennant up today. Dont see too many around like this, and its in excellent condition just color has yellowed.

The Stahlhelm, Bund der Frontsaldaten (Steel Helmet, League of Front Soldiers) was founded by Captain Franz Seldte (a Western front veteran who had lost an arm in the Battle of the Somme) and a few friends on 25th of December, 1918. It was concerned with promoting comradeship and the economic demands of the returning soldiers, and law and order. Initially membership was open to anyone who had served six months in the front lines. In 1933, the Stahlhelm became part of the NSDAP-DNVP, and then
subordinated to the SA, and formally dissolved in 1935.
