U - Crew pennant?

Recently I have seen 2 UK dealers offering small U Boat pennants featuring
the old Imperial backgroud with a Third Reich U Boat badge insignia in the
centre and the wording ' U - Crew' in the top left hand quadrant.

Is this really an original TR pennant? I'm sure that the German for 'Crew' is
'Mannschaft' or something like that. Also the prices asked are very high - one
is up @ £355 and the other @ a mind boggling £750!!

Anyone have any info?

Jamie Cross Militaria has the one @ £750. Its been there for some time, and I only recently found another identical one - cant remember offhand where, but I will check my militaria links and see if I can find it again.

Even before i surfed down and saw the name j.cross, I knew who you were talking about..

A table flag - I too would say no to it , if memory serves me right it has been on his site for a while now - not going anywhere fast.

Thanks Guys. I guessed as much. It wasn't until I saw the second one that I began to wonder about them. I have not been able to find the second one again, so perhaps it has been sold.
