Ss Flag...

Hello,
I have been offered this Vet bring back SS flag with the soldiers dog tag, picture id disc and his pocket compass... The flag is wool with light cloth SS runes on both sides, measures app. 54inches by 26 1/2 inches. Comments and help welcome,, thanks.

I do not think original SS flags were ever marked in any way. Last view of the SS man with flag

The one with the small letter header stamping is definately
a "DI" type fake, but have never seen one from "DI" with
sewn on SS lightning bolt runes - in any case the one with
the stamping is totally bogus! Likewise, as previously posted
many times on this forum, the only SS lager type flag that I
know is 100% the "real thing", are the larger size (bigger than
~2'x3') having screen printed lightning bolt runes, usually with
distinctive German snap hook mountings (karbinerhaken), one
example of which I've had in my collection for some 40 years.
