    General's Admiral Flag

Friends, I need some help on a flag. I am looking to buy a flag from a fellow. The flag is square with eyelets on one side for rope. That edge has General Adm. 0.5x0.5 and an eagle with spread wings. The flag has a large black Maltese cross that goes all the way accoss both ends. There are two gold crossed sabers with anchors on each with rope at the left bottom. Can anyone identify this flag for me? What would be a good price to pay for it? Regards, Bill

Not from ebay. This flag belongs to a fellow worker. He traded for it when he was a boy. It is moth eaten. Just wanted to know the collectability of it before I make an offer. Assuming that is is authentic. Would it be rare? Thanks before hand. Bill

A real one would be worth around a couple thousand,
but there are lots of fakes. About the only examples
I would say are real for sure are those with woven blue
letter on white makers tags on the header. </h4><center>

Thanks for that information. I am quite new at Nazi militaria. but with the facts in front of me, I would have to say it is a real one. A fellow worker didn't know that I was into militaria. In a discussion about something other than military collectables, he said he had this flag that he had traded for when he was a teenager. He is 52 now. He had has no idea what the flag is or worth. He really doesn't want to sell it either. I will try and get some pics to dislpay it on the forum. Thanks again for your response. Regards, Bill
