    Party Banner questions

The first thing I should say is that I'm not a flag guy so any opinions would be great. These are all the pictures I have and I don't know the size. If some one could tell me what I should be looking for that would be great. Does this look to be an original? Is this a normal stamp for this type of flag and if it's considered good what is the going rate on one of these bad boys.

    Thanks
    Kenneth

i find the stamp alittle odd, something like that would make me look very hard, seems to be trying too hard to impress perhaps. i cant commit on it ive just got battle and war state flags but the stamp just made me feel uneasy.

fingers crossed you get a quick answer! good luck!

While I am CERTAINLY no expert, I have to say that I've seen a lot of party banners, and this is the first time I've ever seen an ink stamp on a banner roundel....Anyone else with some expertise wanna weigh in?

          Bob.

I have seen ink stamps on the white a number of times. The thought process might have been that it's more visible there.

After a hard day at the parade when you're taking your flags in and need to get them to back to the right department, it may have been too painstaking to search out a dark stamp on the red field and then try to read it.

In fact, I recently saw a similar one (long and narrow) stamped for a city administration office.
This one seems to read "Amt fuer Beamte Kreis Wera"

            Actually, it's a nice touch.

I like the fact that it is an earlier stamp, with the early eagle, as that is when they would have done it. I have seen some early party armbands with this type of stamp in the same area.

I guess if the rest of it seems real, I wouldn't pay any more for the stamp, but I wouldn't discount it either.

I have a small partybanner (made for a speechcounter) and it is stamped in on of the corners on the red part.
But i think if they stamped it in the white area it is also ok.
The eaglestamp on my one is also the early birdy :-)
