    NSDAP Flagpole Top Info Please

HI I just bought this flagpole top at a local Antique Arms auction. I paid $360 US is this a good price? It has a RZM code M3/40/39 can anyone tell me what this means, and it has what looks like two different stamp marks one on top of the other on the back of the Swastika. I have a modern copy of this and I never dreamed I would own an original. On the copy the detail is not as good and it has two holes to secure it to a pole, the original has no such holes, is this usual and how would you secure it to a pole. I am a novice at collecting and would be most grateful to hear from those who have Knowledge in such area's. Humbly Yours Nigel

Interesting PT. The originals had two holes on the base. Never have seen one with out the holes or one having the stamp on the Swaz. Detail looks good along with the RZM #. Not real sure about this one though???

In defense of my eagle I have found on the Net another pole top from the same maker, it is a DAF flag pole top but has the same RZM markings M3(emblems and insignia) 40(manufacturer number) and 39 being the year made. Note that it does not have any holes for attachment. Does anybody know who the manufacturer is? And can anyone explain the eagle stamps on the reverse of the swastika, it looks like 2 different eagles the first appears to be the earlier eagle with the later eagle stamped over the top

I can't tell much from these pictures. Here is a link to another one for comparison

This one has holes on the base. I have only seen the second version of the PL Pole top with screw holes to attach it to the pole.
