Fake flag pole top?

This flag pole top has no hole in the base, and is pretty lightweight. There are no markings but it does have patina. I assume its fake. What do you all think?

Hello Dennis:
Yes, it is a fake, for many reasons already posted previously on this
forum, such as lack of correct markings, casting details, etc. You can
email for more info if you like?

Thnak you. Yeah usually these pole tops are marked. I bought it in a group as repros so I'm not out anything but I thought I'd better check.

I would like to say it is a fake, since this kind of design for flag tops is mostly associated with the Soviets, and it is kind of hard to use a flag top if you cannot attach it to a flag pole
