seen a fair few of these on e bay so they must be fakes are they cast copys of original war time ones or post war miniatures just out of interest

I've never seen them before (I don't look at eBay very often) but I would say that they are postwar produced. They're a bit cruder than the large originals, but as a shelf ornament they'd be okay if inexpensive.

Hi there

I bought (from e-bay ) a pair of these statues, just before christmas last year,yep they are cast replica's,but i had never seen anyone selling copies of the partei and heer statues.So i had to get a pair there fairly good quality and rather heavy,just like the Nuremberg eagle i have. I had searched years to get one and found a well known usa reanactment web site !! that supplied them,and a great example of the Nuremberg eagle it is.
