    Pole top collection.

    Hello all, i am collecting German pole tops and i thougth it woul be a good idea to post them here for other collectors to see and compare, i will start with this DAF golden honor pole topper,
    hope you will like it!!

      OFW, thanks for your reply, and depressing that you are suspicious about it, i always thougth it was genuine, had it here for some time, will post more tops soon.

        i have the most respect for OFW since reading here for years, but bad start for me posting my collection, anyway here iis another pole topper NSKOV "Otto Ghar" with pole aswelell. hope you like it cheers Tobbe

          OFW...THE DAF TOPPER LOOKS CORRECT BUT APPEARS to have been painted post war with gold crinkle paint like is avaliable at LOWES ...EC

            Can the top be unscrewed from the base or is it to tight to unscrew, if it is a Original "Gold Honor" pole top it will have numbers on both pieces.

                Hello Ed, its very tight, tried but dont want to use to much force, the dealer who sold it to me is good guy, but it was actually listed as a DAF desk decoration and came with a marble base.
                no idea if the marble base was added post war,

                        Gold crinkle paint that is ,...look at fourth pic that shows maker mark ..there is an area above around the cup with no paint!!!!!!....ec
