Commanding General of the Luftwaffe flag

well made flag, either originally made to be displayed as one sided or this is one half of a two sided flag. Front side is 4 piece cotton sewn together onto a large single piece white cotton on the reverse- the eagle chain stitched thru both pieces as the image on the reverse is mirror opposite of the front. Size is approx 28 x 17.5 inches- photos attached are in and out of frame. Any idea of how many "Commanding Generals of the Luftwaffe there were"?

I would estimate that maybe 50 of these
flags were made prior to their 1945 end.
Of those only a hand full survived the war.

"... here is one I have, it was taken from the vehicle that
Generalleutnant Herman Plocher surrendered to the Canadians
in, on the 8th of May 1945.
This example is still encased in its all weather cello cover.
Plocher was the Commanding General of the 6th FJ Division in
Holland at the time of his surrender.

The larger size pennants were used at the Command Headquarters, and were more than triple the size of the staff car pennant, and were mounted on poles. Please see examples of different types below.

The film "Idiocracy" was originally released as a comedy. Now it has been re-released as a documentary.
