How does this German State Service Vehicle Pennant Look?

I came across this for sale and wanted to get it checked out as I not the most knowledgeable on Third Reich car pennants. I looked around for other examples and could only find one other which has a much nicer looking eagle and swastika and doesn't look as messy. That being said I don't know if that discredits it as it's the only other example I've seen. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello Sam171:
IMO, an authentic WW2 RDF auto fender
pennant, as noted by chain stitch construction.
See WAF t=504179 for more WW2 CS pennants.

      Hi
The quality of the eagle and swastika is almost comical. I take it that this type of workmanship was quite difficult? I am not questioning the authenticity of the item, just voicing my own observations. Thanks.
      ps
I have looked at the thread on chain-stitched pennants, that you kindly provided, and noticed a lot of variation in the finished product. It obviously depended on the skill of the machinist! Were these items issued by the state/military or privately purchased?

I have to say that I'm not a fan either. Very poor quality.

Yes, a comical RDF pennant, but the real deal too.
At least as good as the WW2 Hollywood nazi stuff,
as found onlne via google search. See these gems ...

I agree with that. The person who embroidered this must have been drunk.
The pennant does not meet any of the standards, especially the swastika and other features.
I think this pennant never passed the final control!
When I compare the pennant with others, guaranteed originals, the bird is extremely lousy and
does not even look like a bird (rather a chicken, a failure), the width of the swastika is too small
and there is NO wreath visible (which should be). The large swastika is a complete disaster.

I do not know by what concern it was manufactured, but it does not meet any of the standards
of Walter Simon from Dresden or Thiele & Steinert from Berlin. The shown pennant gives me shivers
and the creeps. For me it is crap; others may have another opinion!!

In addition, the swastika is not positioned properly, angle wise.

Somewhat? The difference is quite visible!! Especially the eagle with wreath and swastika.
Even a blindman can see this!
For me, the pennant from post 1, is junk not even "first class"!

Is chain-stitching a skill still used today? If not, when did it cease to be used?

Looking at that original posted pennant again - it sure has everything not going for it.
                              "chicken" That made me laugh.
