LW pennant eagle opinions

Hi Guys,

I have this for sale on the estand and the buyer would like it posted for comments as to originality.

IMO an early pennant eagle in chain- stitch but please have at it.

The chain link weave looks like something we would see of the period. Because the head detail is pretty crude, It's questionable....let's see what others say (OFW?). What are the measurements?

The below pic is something I'm used to seeing. It's a tighter chain link with greater detail.

Are you sure that last eagle on the pennant is 100% the frame looks very suspect, and looks like one of the copys. The eagle looks like the one which started the coversation, but looks odd. Regards Paul.

i think the chain stitched pennants were a bit of a cottage industry hence the style and quality was all over the place,over the years i have seen and owned super quality and also crap ones but all original
