Two Luft Cut off Pennants for Review

Hi Guys,

Wanted to post these two up for your thoughts and opinions -

First up Luft generals cut off pennant -

Second is an officers pennant cut off -

[Lloyds]

the grey one looks like one of the HSC Paris ones from about 18 years back ,they had the poor stitching on the top left wing they still turn up from old collections regimentals has one of his later works on at present its a luft field div one ,caravano (HSC) did a range of these i remember seeing a few at one of the German shows i didnt see the generals type but was told he did them but he did a few cut off grey ones

Do you have any evidence or photos to back up why you think it’s a fake?

what has a load of breast eagles ( a lot of us can do that) got to do with a pennant center i am no saying the yellow eagle that you have probably flogged on is wrong but some grey ones were made by HSC no idea about how good or bad the yellow one is

So I am still waiting for you to show us some evidence of why you say they are wrong, let’s see some of these HSC examples or are they just from what you can remember? Hardly the best way to determine authenticity. It’s dangerous to cal, stuff out as fakes if you can’t back it up, most collectors can understand that.
And as for the “a lot of us can do that” I would love to see your cut offs if you have some?

i am not trying to go to war with you on this just having seen these in the past several years back and now the are around again as are several items from that time and are now originals i am sure other collectors in France and Germany know Pere Caravano and his firm HSC and all the super fake items he did

Wow. So I guess we won’t get to see any evidence other than your anecdotal tale, these were shown and experienced collectors gave them the thumbs up. They are also uv negative unlike the very basic and poor fakes you talk about. But I will let others judge for themselves

IMO, the Luft eagles look pretty good to me.
I've noted like GI cut Luft eagle pennant centers on
the WAF with embroidery appearing just the same.
