    SA Storm flag 6/15

Hi, I have been offered a Small German Flag with two pointed ends with gold rope around the edges and a green patch in the corner with 6/15, looking it up I have found that it could be a cavalry Storm flag for the SA. I have tried posting photos but my internet is terrible, is this flag worth much, he is asking £850, it is in good condition but it is not perfect. Thanks Nigel

Patch color is emerald green for the SA group Nordmark.

The SA cavalry Standarte 15 was located in Itzehohe

Well, of course prices are very subjective. One collector is willing to pay more, the other less. The difference can be significant.

IMHO, 850 GBP reflects a realistic market price. SA cavalry flags are more rare than SA storm flags. And a SA “Sturmfahne” you won’t find below 850 GBP / 1000 EUR / 1100 USD.

Thanks for all the comments, I do like the flag and it is a nice size for any collection, I think that I just need to try and haggle a little

It would or should have had a black leather/leatherette strip on the bunting edge for suspension to the cavalry flag pole.

                    Hello Erich:
Do you have a photo of one with the "black
leather ... strip on the bunting edge." How
is that "strip" then mounted to the pole?

There are three attachment tags that can be seen top and bottom still have small wire rings. Sadly I cannot download the photos but I will keep trying. Thanks for all the information

Mine is like that last one posted. I'll try to take a photo later this evening. The RZM instructions for the flag shows the leather edging as well.

Well hopefully the flag is on its way from Germany into my collection, I will take lots of photos when I get it.
