C96 Red 9

Here is the other one I picked up seem like its a straight forward Red 9 all matching except grips and stock. The grips and stock have serial numbers but not to this gun. The end of the stock door seems like a different shade so not sure if that was replaced also. This one does not have the milled grove on the follower, should this be a concern when shooting 9mm?

I strongly suggest replacing the recoil spring with a new one before you fire it.

This Red Nine is fairly early, in the first quarter or so of those actually delivered. You should make a careful side by side comparison between the two guns down to all of the markings. The acceptance stamp will be found on the right side receiver.

This must be the acceptance stamp. Going to get new springs for both guns then time to test fire.

That’s it. Your other one should have it as well. These red nines seem to have not been accepted after about serial number 109,000-110,000, but your anomaly is 10,000+ lower of course and should be accepted.
