Langenhan "L.K.S." Pistol

Gentlemen,

I started a thread on a 7,65mm Langenhan "L.K.S." property marked pistol in the Police section that can be found here:

These commercial style semi-auto pistols that are property marked to the "LKS" are different from the WWI pistols used by the military but no one knows much about them. I am seeking information on this pistol. Please take a look and comment if you wish.

I do believe that marking is for the motorized or armored car police units. That unit making is also found on the Berrgmann pistols. I think that those units were considered like "fire brigade" units to deploy fast at the scene of trouble or political riots during the communist uprisings. I would think they had the Bergman pistols (which would have been in Bergman 9mm) to go along with the Bergmann submancinge guns in the same calibre?
