In the 2nd picture there is something that is not on my other lugers ,is that something to do with the safety?
Thank you again for any help

Sear safety fitted to police Lugers.

It also appears that it was fitted with the magazine safety, but virtually all were removed.

Side plate and takedown lever do not appear original. The frame is of WWI military production and was most likely dated at one time.

The take down lever looks like DDR production.
Sideplate clearly not original (pre-1945). Also, looks to have been refinished to me.
If it still works properly and priced accordingly this would fall in the "shooter" category.

The acceptance stamps on the right side of the receiver indicate that it was either a 1917 or 1918 dated DWM.

Probably started life as a WW1 DWM production, the Eagle / 6 speaks for postwar Simson rework, could be later refurbished for Police, as there is a Schiwy safety, any stamp on handle strap?
