Mauser made all their loading tools and that is not one of them, not a Krieghoff , so what is it? I would certainly take information from Hallock and van de Kant over some of the "Heavy Hitters" in the Luger world. With all the information available Luger ads are still full of fantasy items, and customers are still biting.

There are association members who have been trading and collecting Lugers for probably longer than Hallock or Joop have been alive. Sadly, not every expert I knew wrote a book and despite urgings to do so, passed on and took their knowledge with them. Studies that meet academic standards are a blessing but in the final analysis, there is no substitute for personal experience, much of it gained the hard way.
