Time to move out of the PR of CA so I can have some real fun! Prices are only going up on the SMG's. Just a couple years ago, MP40s were in the 6k range. Now...

The great thing about these is that you can actually interact with them. You know, take 'em out, shoot 'em, tear 'em down and clean 'em. Can't do that with any RK. Come to think of it, what can I do with an RK? Well, take it for a walk in the park I suppose. Otherwise, it just sits in the safe here.

Would definitely check into reloading for the 8mm kurz. Does anyone make the dies?

Matt, I went to a military show in Waukesha WI and the guy who runs it is the same guy with all the machine guns and he had the two MP44/Stg44's there and they were priced at $10,000 each. That makes me feel a little better for what I paid for mine. He usually has a display of his machine guns and he really had a lot of them there this time. I think he had almost two dozen of them plus a lot of rocket launchers/bazooka's and guns with silencers. You name it and he had it. The older ones included a Lewis gun, a BAR, a couple of Bren’s, a FN light MG, two MG 42's on tripods, MG34 on tripod, a aircraft MG34, a MP40, three Thompson's, the two MP44/Stg44's, a Grease gun, a Maxim MG on a tripod, Two Browning 30 MG's lights on a dual mount, a couple of Russian MG's plus a number of others I can't recall and some modern ones. Quite a display. Ray
