                      Hi Adam!

Ok... where to start this crazy "try to explain mechanic function, wich is difficult in Norwegian, then try to do it using my crappy English... "

Here I go: I can put the "loader arm" back in the position to load the weapon. Its then looked. When pulling the loader arm back again its ready to "fire". I can push the trigger and it will go back to its original position. It is wealded (right word?) in the barrel, and "pin" that hit the bullet is broken to, but its there. I do think I can put the weapon from apart, but I have not tried, and I dont think I will. My guess is that this is the old "deact" solution.

About the STG44. Think they go for about 2700$ or so.

                      Cheers

Nice MP40 !!!! wish I could have one here in Holland......

So Adam, forget Holland if you're going to move, no deactivated guns are allowed here (only completely welded weapons like the K98, Mosin Nagan etc.... however deactivated semi-auto guns are also prohibited in Holland, as are deact pistols.......)

Fortunately as a sport shooter, one can own the MP44

Nice gun, nice buy! Here, in the US, you would pay $400 only for the sling and magazines, which you got with your MP40, and about $2000 for the MP40 itself.
Man, you got yours almost for free!

                              Hi It Øyvind

Sounds like in Norway the bolt is relatively untouched except the firing pin is broken and possibly the hole is welded. Uneven less de-activated than the UK 'old spec' de-activated guns.I only wish now I had knew about this because I have just paid $1500 US for this one !

Great buy and looks really nice ! What a steal ! If you know where there are more please pm me !

                              Regards Roughshooter
