    Which O3a3 would you sell?

I have two O3s and was thinking about selling one. Of course I want to keep the best for myself. I have a Smith Corona and Remington. I like the Smith just due to the fact that its a typewriter co that was pressed into making arms for the war effort. But I have been told its not all original Smith parts. I have to take some pictures of the Remington but have a few of the Smith. I know I need to get some of the Rem. but can we start with the Smith and go from there? Forgive the RIGs grease I keep it for LTS.

I have too many guns. It becomes they own you, you don't own them. I have 12 AR15s and as soon a prices go up I am selling off several.

The pistol grip stock is not original to either rifle, and the square safety lug was only found on the very late S-C rifles. The square safety lug was found on the replacement bolts. The buttplate is from a 1903 rifle.

The Smith in Smith-Corona was L.C. Smith the shotgun maker.

When the guns went back through rebuild there was no effort made to keep the original parts together. A mix of parts suited the military fine.

The Smith-Corona has a low enough serial number that it probably had a 6 groove barrel originally. If the barrel is still 6 groove I would consider keeping it.

            An original Remington O3-A3.

            (Sorry, picture wouldn't post.)

Please post your pictures directly to the thread. There is no reason to use photo hosting, it just destroys the thread in the future when the pictures disappear.

Had no success changing the photo hosting. I must be reading the wrong instructions.

I guess not being able to post a photo to a thread and posting one that disappears after a few years results in the same outcome.

On the reply to post do you guys see the "manage attachments" tab? You should be able to add photos by clicking on that and uploading the images from your computer.
