Again , thank you all for looking & helping out . I will just be happy if the handguard is an original , uncommon or not .
BTW , I have by now still not found pictures of my 5/5 variant , but I did find several with not 4 , not 5 , but .. 6 holes .. !

6 hole varants shown on WAF by Pitfighter , and Sniper11 .
BTW , can someone explain to me what I am looking at in the last picture ?
What are the attachments on the buttstock here ( some sort of plate ? and an fxo marked part ? )

Parts are: firing pin, extractor (fxo) and rolled up instruction booklet in butt stock trap.

Very nice , thanks for showing !
Leaves me with 1 final question :
On wood of the buttstock there is a small triangle mark , with " K9 " inside of it . Would that be for a Yugo or Czech reissue ?!

My all-matching live Haenel MP44 has also an aqr handguard with 4 holes on the left and 5 on the right.

The triangle on the buttstock is a known postwar marking, czech made probably.

Yes and the serial number on the stock is postwar. Most likely the entire rifle was refinished when it was re arsenalled 60+ years ago.

A real shame that the magazine had to be demilitarized also ..

Mag lips can be restored unless it is illegal to do that under your laws.

It would be , since both gun & magazine need to be deactivated to own here . I guess I'm already lucky that they didn't weld it into place ..
