MP44 and K/g 43 for sale at Beltring.

Attended the Beltring show in the UK last week and was not only surprised to see these two guns for sale but more surprised at the prices being asked! G?k43 @£5.500 and I think the MP44 was some thing like £4,500, bearing in mind that they will be to the latest spec deactivation where the guns will have been maimed even further than before where I should think that not a lot still works and over a thousand pounds for a mutilated P38 pistol I'm glad I got mine when I did!

Are they not a little hard to find on your side of the pond?......Bodes

      Rare guns.

Yes they don't come up for sale that often that's why apart from the price I was suprised to see them on sale especialy as they have been ruined even further. The amount of deact german guns that I've seen sale since the new EU standards have been made law has gone down, mainly because those who have the old spec guns are hanging on to them plus they can't sell them legally unless they are redeactivated to the very latest specifications. Of course that dosn't stop people selling them illegally. Regards David.

As you probably are aware, Old Spec UK deactivated is a no go in the US.
The receiver's are still intact - even though the firearm won't work.
We have a pretty explicit three cut process for the receiver, if they are to be imported.

If someone was motivated, they could possibly get a import form 6 on the G43 though - but that price is more than a matching and firing one over here.

Prices are really crazy IMO for these new spec deactivated weapons.I own an old spec MP43 so cocks and dry fires but even if I were tempted to sell it certainly isn't worth those prices surely .

Those prices are simply crazy. They are far above from what would be a reasonable amount for a deact.
Just as an example, I will list for sale my functional (semi only) all matching original MP44, and the price will be around what you say they are asking for a new spec deact... And we all will agree that a functional gun is always more valuable than a deact

                Sky high prices.

I agree a lot of money for a gun or guns that have been ruined but these guns hardly ever come up for sale, these two were the first that I had seen for a long time and remember you can't legally buy or sell old spec deacs here in the UK.
