It looks fine to me. With the price of originals so low it should be irrelevant and people should actually use the pouches. I use mine because I have so many of them, why not!

I agree with the others. These look good. Russian Capture K43 mag pouch. These came into the US in the early 2000's as packaging material! That's right, instead of bubble wrap they used K43 mag pouches to package stuff with!!!

If marked, sometimes they are found on the inside of the right side pouch. Sometimes the markings are very faint though, and tough to read.

Where did you get this story ? They simply came out from Ukrainian Army mobilization stocks and brought by east european dealers on the European market ?

Sorry Nick, the story is correct. They first appeared on the market (and can only speak about the US market, as I never saw European dealers bring them to the large US shows) as packing material for gun parts. Folks quickly realized what they were, and after that they were dumped on the market from the source, and for a price.

So may be Gun parts were packed directly at the Army surplus logistic depot like that
and sold like that ? these pouches were considered as rubbish by the russian or Ukrainian Army people at that time !
Which could explain the story ? never heard of it ...
At that time i was told 3000 pieces came out of these stocks .

Look at the Claus Espeholt website. I heard many more were found, about 17000, with some in bad condition.

As for the piece shown, maybe the owner has not looked into the right side pouch, where the stamp ros 44 is normally placed.

I was going to see who the manufacturer was, in this book, but the three letter codes only go to ‘o’ and I know nothing of a 2nd volume.

Recently I bought 2 "bla1944" pouches for $75 total.
