    P-38 Spreewerks

I just acquired a World War II Spreewerke "cyq" Code P38 Semi-Automatic Pistol, the 4 digit no. says it was made in dec. 1942. I can't figure out the holster though. It is believed to have come from a tank I have been told it was captured from a tank, I cannot find any holster that looks like this one. It has no cover, one strap with a metal catch, that is mounted in the center ( behind upper grip ) and no extra magazine. there are many that look close but they have a 2nd strap loop mounted by the opening for the barrel this one doesn't. and ideas? it has no markings I can find anywhere. I can add picture when I get home

    thanks Dave

If it’s a no letter code then it would be an early Spreewerke Pistol !!
