MG 34 Bipod reproductions

Hi all, I am in the market for a MG 34 bipod but don't want to buy a fake/reproduction. I was told that IMA made repros. It this true? I can't find anything on the internet that confirms this. Are there fakes out there that have been mass produced ? Thanks, Rob

The picture just posted is for an MG42 style bipod...at that price it's a Yugo M53 postwar bipod. It will in no way fit a 34. The Israeli bipods I have seen look more like a ZB/Bren Tripod.

Gunbroker, perhaps MG34.com, Apex Arms, or TNW firearms in OR would have an original bipod.

A bit pricy!

I saw one few days back on German E-bay the guy was asking 260 euros. I have a couple that I pick up for around the same price, so if you are not in a big rush these do come up, or put up post on the wanted section.
