    Double barrel flare gun.

    Hi
    I just got this one yesterday.
    it's a eeu from 1944 from the kriegsmarine.

    What is this model called??

      Hi Jacob, you have a Walther SLD. (Doppellaufige Signal - und Leuchtpistole)
      Designed in 1935, early ones were stainless steel. 4000 made by the end of 1943. Yours is the alloy frame version and is correct for that maker "eeu".

        This one was part of a big gun blast here in denmark after the war.Thats why it has some scratches.
        They put a lot of guns, ammunition and so on, in a big pile in a wood and blow them up.
        But a lot af them did not get destroyed. The blast scattered a lot of the guns all over the forrest, and some of them where found by civilians afterwards, this one incl.
