Perfect rig and the two matching mags are the real cherry on the cake.
As said above, these pistols were made as a contract (just like the Star B and Astra 300 pistols, for example) and not under occpation (like the FN Browning pistols or the ViS-35 Radom).

I have seen as lot of real minty looking holsters around femura pistols , I h ave all three models of these femura pistols but don't collect holsters for them. what is your opinion of these holsters?

I think the "minty" Femaru holsters are ex-Soviet captures (of 100% original WWII German production), as surplused off by Ukraine about 15 - 20 years ago. A large number of P.38 and Femaru holsters came from this source. All of these Ukraine surplus holsters appear to be unissued examples; typically very nicely marked and in great condition.
Not sure if true, but I've always heard that the leather top flaps will develop cracks if you fold the flap down and secure it closed for any length of time, as the holsters came from the factory in "open" position and were stored that way for 70 years.Comment

I agree with Allen. Ive owned one of these holsters imported from Russia a while back. Original and unused.

Same opinion about occupation, Hungary was a ally with Germany, so a contract was done.
Secondly large part of Ukraine was part of post 1940 Hungary, so when there was a depot in that area, could be the material remained later postwar there prior outsaling by Ukrainians post 1990. b.r.AndyComment
