Two holsters - for what pistols?

    Hi guys,

Today picked a pair of holsters. What pistols are they for? The brown one has no markings that I could see.

The black pebbled one has some markings on the belt loop on the back - a RB number 0/1250/0011 - though I am not sure for some of the numbers; also something like EZGJ and year 1944; also WaA - looks like 21. For the size, the width of the upper edge of the flap of the black holster is 13,5 cm

    Here they are:

    Theador,

The black one is for a CZ P27(t) and the brown one is for a Mauser HSC or Walther PP

        Theodor,

Did you get these from Oukraïna?

No, Bulgaria. Late afternoon yesterday stopped by my favorite antiques dealer - the same from whom I got my Luger. Asked him if there is something new - no, he said, only two holsters, but they are unmarked, for modern pistols.
Of course, I was sure they are not for modern pistols, also spotted that the black one is not unmarked So, did not argue for the next-to-nothing price /10 Euro total for the two of them/ and hurried to put them in the bag
Both had one finger thick dust layer on them, but only wiped with a cloth and they are minty, espeially the CZ holster!

I bought a Browning HP marked with all the waffen amp stamps dated 1943 with a holster that was identical to the brown one you have. It was also marked 1943 to match the pistol. Hope this helps.

Hi Irv, I've seen such holsters for Browning, same construction, but I think they are much, much bigger. That brown holster is very small, almost the same size like a small Saurer holster that I have. Having this and that holster, I wonder where the beauties from inside have gone! Lets hope to get a full one next time

What a bargain Theo! They are mint.

                Cheers, Ade.

The brown holster is longer in the overall length than the black one but it is hard to get the perspective on the size, I bet that wouldn't be far off the size to get a hi-power in . As I remember it my holster wasn't that big in comparison to something like a luger holster. I wish I had pictures to post for you but the powers to be over here took everything from me back in 1995
It really was a lovely gun....I also had a 1916 luger that was an artillary model which had had it's barrel replaced with a 4" between the wars. It had a sear disconnector and a magazine safety conversions for a police contract. I had to surrender them both with my others......I think they are now a shopping trolly Took them away and destroyed them!!!!!!!!

Gun crime has gone up by 70% since then.

                  Regards

That sounds very bad! That's histerical, the laws for collecting are very hard to follow, many people keep secret collections here and not even a single crime or accident with them...

..and talking about holsters, here is another one that I have for al ong time now, but what is it for? To the right, this is a jhg 1941Saurer 7.65 holster. Just for comparison of the size. And to the left - what is it? No manufacturer, only a WaA 020. Walther? Or Astra or something like this?

and inside. On the back has had one wide belt loop, but it has been unsewn and instead two slits are cut in the leather, for the belt to pass.

It looks like a Radom holster to me. Nice one too
