Thanks guys. My Granatbüchse 39 definitely fits into the "unusual" category that I like to collect.

I have never shot my Granatbüchse, but I know that my friend has shot his Panzerbüchse 39 in the past.

They are not considered "destructive devices" because the projectile is only 7.9mm. They also do not require a class III license because they are single shot rifles.

In my opinion, two of the coolest features of the Granatbüchse 39 are the box sight, and the dropping block breach.
