Hmmm could be! They did a good job matching the strap leather to the holster.the leather and rivits appear to be the same age as the holster. Oh well, mystery rig!

Shoulder holster

Probably Walther PP or Sauer 38H....modified commercial belt holster into a shoulder rig.....by the German military or U.S. occupation force? A pack of cigarettes could get you one of these. Many G.I.s brought these home with a souvenir weapon.
Luftwaffe aircrew and others wore these to save space and prevent from snagging on instruments. I have four or five befitting a P38 to a PPK.

I have seen lots of these for sale, I think they are browning 1910 holsters.
