Any opinions on value here....?

I have a 1940 Kreighoff Luger with matched Mag, no kidding. It is right, about 95% bluing...One of 1000 made that year...I know it is worth a good bit...I'm looking to trade it for an item or 2 and some cash...any opinions on value before I jump in please?

Well....

I traded it on a FJ paratrooper helmet and got some cash to boot...So, it is gone, but I have first shot at getting it back...which I hope/plan on doing... We'll see... Skip

Ouch!

You'll always find an FJ lid, but a wartime produced Krieghoff... If this is original finish, I'd suggest you make it top priority on getting that back. Even if it is a 1940, which are the most common war produced Krieghoffs.

You are right, it is now a top priority to get it back, but I made a bunch of money on it, and got the Para lid too...the fellow (a friend) has a certain interest that I can find a trade item or two for him...the sooner the better though, I miss it already!
