Functional MP44 presentation

Hi guys.
I have just received my all matching semi auto functional MP44 assault rifle.
It was made by Haenel in 1944 and has traces of its original blueing on it.
It shoots great and it is quite controllable during rapid fire, being able to sustain a pretty decent rate of fire.
It is also accurate enough.

Definitely,a nice collectable gun which is also quite funny down at the range, performing quite well while practicing some kind of tactical shooting

Mate it’s awesome. Show us more pics please. Mine to is also converted semi. How did they do yours?? Any chance of some pics of the stock/wood. What kind of markings are around the sling hole left side. Mine has TG2 in a triangle- I’m not sure anyone has fully proved this marking is post war.

Hi mate.
I will upload them asap, I am quite busy these days.. But I will upload them.
My MP44 does not have any markings at the wood part of the stock at all.. Only "cos", a Waa and the serial number on the metal piece that links the stock with the receiver. As far as I am concerned those TG2 marks are not wartime
Anyway, when talking about these rare rifles I think that those markings dont detract too much value, specially from functional rifles

The full auto mode is disabled by cutting the selector bar and soldering it into the semi position

Your right, especially the east DDR German ones. Just more history to them. Early Cold War history at that.

Yea we can have em. We have different endorsements on our basic licence.

Mine has all the good bits removed and the welded a screw in here( see pics ) god knows why. But it’s not to ugly. But hey! I can still switch between semi and auto with the button. Just no auto
